The classic recipe: two P-90's loaded in a single-cutaway mahogany body, it doesn't get any better. But wait, it does! Classy binding. Bass Contour control. The bridge pickup is slightly hotter than a vintage soapbar, and the neck pickup slightly cleaner. Thick midrange squawk with raw treble attack, plus more versatility. Special indeed! This guitar features resonant korina and solidbody construction for an instrument that is lively, clear and rich in harmonics. Gear used for this recording: Reverend 112 Hellhound amp on US setting, MI Audio Crunch Box for the overdrive parts, close-miced with a Shure SM58 microphone, Audacity recording software. Playing courtesy of Jason Van Doorn.

  • in the desciption it says that it is made of mahogany but later it says that it is made out of korina :/

  • I have this exact guitar. Since it has P90's, I use it as a slide guitar. Killer tone for low bottom price.

  • how much did these go for new? whats the used value of one?.... any help appreciated.

  • how much did these go for new? im thinking about buying a used one and wondering the value.

  • he's a big fucker

  • Nice guitar...Good playin...Silly hat...YOMV

  • Just bought this exact model and plan on using it with my Reverend Goblin amp, hopefully I can get those type of tones outta it with my playing, or at least have fun trying....

  • This guy can play, if you cannot see that then you have some more time at the chopping block my friend. Great tone and playing. Badass is right

  • Yeah, that's also true, but he compares the sound in only one kind of playing- sort of country music that personally I really hate

  • The hellhound is such a badass little amp.

The coolest thing about it is the schizo switch. It allows the amp to sound like a marshall (UK setting) or a Fender (US setting)

It also has a watt switch. You can change it from 40 to 60 watts.
