I come to watch a spectacular and ancient art form, and then read the comments which inevitably have knuckleheads of the "BJJ/Muay Thai/MMA RULZ HERP DERP" crowd.

Muy Thai is a joke

There's always some muy thai fanatics preaching on every ancient martial arts videos. Pure strength means nothing, there are some parts of the body that will remain soft no matter now many years you train. In a real fight, they will rip your ears off and puncture your throat before you hit the floor.
People need to realize the difference between fighting styles for sports, and fighting styles which were used and proven through hundreds of years of war.

@crustylion321 not a story its what they do
-
@Qwetzgreen cool story, bro. Muay thai is better
-
@crustylion321 Hahaha, Go look up shaolin strength techniques and talk to me, they train every single bit of their body including there neck and thighs, to strengthen there arms as 5-13 year olds they continuesly have to hit cold water for 12 hours. Monks necks are so strong they have a certain medidation where they can hang themselfs while medidating for 3 hours, Shaolin Monks are super human.

@Qwetzgreen Monks have no strength, dont believe that Chi crap, its not real. Muay Thai is pure aggression , strength, mixed with accuracy. Thats why its the best fighting style
its hard to explain. at the same time he pushes with his upper mopst foot down on the staff yet pulls up with his hands and puts his weight on the foot thats closest to the base of the staff creating an equal distrabutuion balancing effect. also notice how the staff bends. bending like that relives pressure and helps balance. hope that helps. :)
