Watch as Acrylic-Werks Polish removes caked-on tire rubber and track residue from a race car. The owner, like many others, had previously used WD-40 and other solvents to remove this residue. These solvents can harm a paint job over time. With Acrylic-Werks, you have a water-based, non-abrasive cleaner and polish that not only removes these contaminants, put leaves a clear protective shield on the paint that will make future cleanings much easier.

  • very informative post!!!! i was looking for solution for this matter for more than 4 days, didn't expact to find it on youtube hahaha, as its very hard to find the topic from google

  • Only passed on the info given to me. I went and checked out the WD40 label and did not see any cautions about getting it on paint. So....if anyone wants to spray it on paint, I guess you can. The owner of this 1/4 mile runner was very happy with the removal of almost 1 yr old slick rubber compound & debris. Video was real time.

  • Why exactly would using WD-40 ruin the paint job?
