Middle was good, beginning and end was too rushed. The pauses are some of the funniest parts of this sketch. Good attempt though.

Exactly...no comedy timing. A nice ten second pause, while they sup brandy and puff on the fat cigars, before he says "cardboard box?" would have done it the world of good.
