On Sunday 22nd May 2011, Shepherd Neame ran their 'The Spitfire' Railtour from London Victoria to Faversham, for the Classic Car Festival. Motive power was BR Standard class 7 No. 70013 'Olive Cromwell' and 37516, the latter features in this video.
37516 is first seen passing the tour at Lenham Down Loop, which had stopped for water. The 37 was working an 0Z84 London Victoria - Faversham light engine movement, ready for afternoons shuttle trip from Faversham to Sheerness via Gillingham.
37516 is then seen in the Sittingbourne area assisiting 70013 on 'The Spitfire', which had stopped previously due to the route being set wrong, it being set for Sheerness rather than Gillingham.
Finally, the WCR 37/5 is seen at several locations between Gillingham and Sheerness working the diesel hauled leg of 'The Spitfire' shuttle trip.
@concretejockey Thanks! Yes the 37 did! :) And yes OC did, was a very loud run back to Victroria.

Hi 21C123
Great clip.Thank you.The 37 sounds nearly as good as Oliver Cromwells bark.He sounded supurb as he pulled away from the watering stop at Harrietsham.
