It's Going To Be Okay - Season 2 Episode 4 Part 3

Joe: But I do, okay? You guys have seen whats happened to me. I dont feel the need to exist without her in my life. But now shes with some other guy. And thats probably why she slapped me, because we both knew it was wrong. I am such an idiot. But Im an idiot that is in love with this girl named Demi, and all I ever seem to do is cause her pain.
Miley: She loves you too, Joe, she does. But Mitchell genuinely loves her. And I know how much she wants to move on and be with him. I probably shouldnt tell you this--
David: But theres a reason she hasnt said it back to him. Dude, she is not over you.
Miley: Shes really hurting inside from everything that has happened to her. So its not that she wants to move on from her past, its that she feels she has to.
David: She hasnt stopped thinking about you once. But Mitchell is a really nice guy. And I think that right now all she needs is time to figure out what she really wants.
Miley: So I think what you did was the right thing, to let her know that you still love her.
David: Its just that she has to decide for herself what she can handle. But for now, you have to give her space. I honestly cant see her running away again. However you definitely added to her pile of worries, I guess you could say.
Miley: By coming to school here, that is. But I know its going to work out for the best.
Joe: Im not going to school here. So she can take that back off her list.
Kevin: Joe, for now, I think its best to think about it. What we all need it to just relax and breathe. Well go back to the hotel and maybe we can meet up again tomorrow.
Danielle: Maybe things will cool down by then.
Selena: Miley, do you think shed even want to see us again?
Miley: Im going to talk to her, then Ill let you know. Im sure shell definitely not miss the opportunity to see Devin.
Joe: Dont worry, Ill stay at the hotel. So if shes coming tomorrow she wont see me.
David: Joe
Joe: It was nice seeing you guys again, talk to you again sometime (Stands up) Ill meet you all later at the hotel (Leaves)
Miley: (Sighs) Poor Joe.
Nick: He loves her so much.
Selena: (Mumbles) He also loved sleeping with her enemy.
David: Sel?
Selena: Its his fault.
Kevin: Selena, stop it, no its not.
Danielle: (Places her hand on Selenas and smiles) And she knows that.
Selena: (Looks down) I just miss her.
Nick: Babe, we all do.
David: Things will work out. Shell come around. Believe me, she misses you guys as much as you miss her.
Miley: And she loves all of you so much. Shes just having a tough time coping with everything. I mean, shes been trying so hard to move on. Mitchell is the first steady boyfriend shes had.
Selena: How long have they been together?
David: Three months.
Kevin: Wow. She seems like she cares about him.
Miley: (Sighs) She does. But I dont think that shell ever love him the way she loves Joe. No matter how hard she tries.
