This guy wrote beautiful music
-
There are no words to describe the magnitude of the musical loss suffered when this guy died.
You get a handful of guys like this every generation. Such a shame that so few have ever heard of him (including guitarists- including SERIOUS guitarists- including SERIOUS FINGERSTYLE GUITARISTS), however, thank god he was around just long enough to catch the full force of the internet age, so we all can enjoy him forever.
-
is going to be a longer time without him now

Buster B. Jones passed away on Feb. 2, 2009 in Eugene, Oregon. He was 49 years old. He's gone, but we'll always have his music. He's at peace.

great buster, but a lot of it sounds more influenced by earl klugh rather than jerry
-
Nope, Buster shows material from the recording of two tunes for his CD "Just us". He plays each on a different guitar and uses different styles. Some Marcel Dadi on "Just us" and his unique blend of styles on "Brew Grass".
-
He does the lead with no pick. There is an overdub part for harmony and fill that he uses the thumb pick.
-
Heh! Well spotted!
