The Scion tC is a small front-drive coupe from Toyota's youth-friendly sub-brand. As the sportiest and most expensive car in Scion's lineup it acts as something of a flagship for the brand. Now in its second generation the tC competes with compact coupes like the Honda Civic and Kia Forte but also with other sporty small cars like the Mazda 3 Hatchback or MINI Cooper.

  • Scion cars are great. They are initially low priced and give you tons of customization to raise the price to a good value.

  • @Jeycuasi Celicas were somewhat of a girls car... BRING THE SUPRA BACK!

  • Wow, this review was way more helpful then I thought it would be!

  • @silverback1138 Now how retard is this comment and mature..

  • @soyntgo4it

If people saw our dialog this past week or so...I think it would induce at least a facepalm....Time for me to just walk away and give up.

  • @silverback1138 Not hating on the tC doesn't have the options the Si does. Yes I know they are talking about the tC in the video. You get more with the Si than the tC as far as options than a base tC.

  • @soyntgo4it

Dude, I did research before I made my purchase and I decided that the lower price appeals to mme. I don't think you get the gist of what I'm saying. Both are GREAT cars for their price. I'm not dissing the Civic Si like you are dissing the tC. I don't have the 3k budget issue but some people do and it makes the tC a great alternative. If you have a Civic preference, good for you, but I think your hate on the tC is pretty stupid.

  • @silverback1138 Si comes with more options than the base tC. I can send you the specs if you like. You don't just get more HP with the Si you get more than that..

  • @soyntgo4it

Well, if the extra 21 hp is worth an additional 3K for you. I don't necessarily think that's more for your money. "More for your money" is getting a better value without spending that much more. As much as my overall budget for this purchase was higher, 3K is still a substantial amount of money. You get a slightly better performance from the Si...at the price of 3K.

  • @silverback1138 Well a base tC is only a little over $19k why not spend the extra $3k on an Si you get more for you money.

  • @RayZirxy

Agreed with that sir. I love my tC and and honestly while Kia and Hyundai have ramped up their quality, they're still no Toyota or Honda.

  • @soyntgo4it

Well if you're willing to pay almost 3k for an extra 21 hp. I got the tC and it's a fun yet practical car and people can still tune it if they really want extra performance. The interior is a little cheap but it's not necessarily crap. The Civic SI is a great car, but it doesn't make the tC a crap car. You're paying that 3k for what make s the Civic Si better. Your reasoning would be more acceptable if they were within a couple of hundred in price point.
