@EmbroideredFlower I'm very sorry to hear that, and totally understand. My kiddo is almost two and I still get those images of induced labor and unwanted epidural. If I hadn't pushed during the Dr's break, it would have been an unnecessary c-section. It's the worst feeling not being able to touch your baby until 4+ hours after giving birth. I feel your pain, but let's enjoy what we now have and find alternatives if there's a next time :-)

I wanted a home birth. I got a hospital "birth rape" instead. It was awful. I regret it with all that I am. I can never get those moments back.

I am a student midwife...and also my calling in life...thank you for your video, and your book. I am also ready to birth my 7th child, my 6th homebirth...homebirth is so very important, you are very right that it is a family affair, an empowering decision

what lovely serendipity - i am up watching random homebirth videos while nursing my 5th baby and feeling the flutterings of my 6th inside. During the photo montage I see a pic. of me and my newborn Sophie (baby #4) flash on the screen. It reminds me I will be great and pain is temporary.
