Innocent until proven guilty does not mean pretend that nothing happened. When a cop is caught on video committing a crime, he is suspended until the matter is resolved. Why should this not apply to politicians. If a guy is caught molesting a child on camera, and somehow makes bail, should he be allowed to continue teaching kindergarten as he awaits his trial.

Watch the eye contact between Burris & Blago. What a HOOT! Of course poor Harry Reid was correctly trying to safeguard the integrity of the Senate, understandably expecting a Blago appointment to be as tainted as the Governor. And the Ill. Sec. of State had been appropriately requested by the Senate leadership not to signoff any Blago appointment.
