"The Decider" says we won't leave Iraq "until we win". Win WHAT? The day he illegally and immorally INVADED a foreign country, leading to countless deaths--ours and theirs--it was obvious this would be...Viet Raq.

Ironically, it's far too late to bring the troops home. The damage is done.

  • I hear you, brother / sister. I refer to Iraq as " Vietnam II " or " Vietnam, the Sequel ".

I thought Obama was going to get us out of the Gulf after George Dumbya put us in there . It won't happen overnight, but it's gotta be done. Naivete is bliss, just like ignorance.

  • Thank you for posting this; those of us who were coming of age during the Vietnam War lost friends, husbands, brothers, and sons. Now women are also losing their lives unnecessarily as well. This is insane and needs to stop.

  • I had both sons in Iraq in 2007, yes the older brother requested to go and be near his younger brother, they made it home that was a very hard time for me i would sing this song living in Columbia South Carolina just miles away from Ft Jackson where many of our Army soldiers are trained having lunch at the Golden Corral just outside the main gate watching these young soldiers and their families after their graduation i pray for all if they're deployed to war zones to come home

  • god bless the usa and lee greenwood

  • Man i lost 1 good friend and one of my friends with both his legs blown off. We need to fucking level IRAQ NOW. I'm not a republican but John McCain was right when he told Bush. you dont know what you are getting into about WAR

  • Your point is well made here. The comparisons are interesting. Not to incite controversy,I agree with the statement made in your video wholeheartedly.I can see a ripple effect in relation to the Iraq War and the past Viet Nam War.Freda sang this at a concert I saw last year and also quoted her concerns about the Iraq War and what it has become. Thanks!
