Is this faster than the vxl esc+motor combo?

around 2 bills probally....i have a slash and wanna more top speed cuz its just for bashing for now until i start racing when i race it will be completely stock to run in spec class

this is the same setup i am getting my b day is next weekend so with my borthday money i am going to get it....is there anything i need other than the motor and the esc to run i have two 7 cell packs...wht gearing to you recommend running for off orad use

Dude not to be rude that was not 36mph, That was like more like 40 to 43, but with the 28 like 45 to 47, but i have a gps and its way more accurate than just clocking it! NICE VIDEO check mine out with my stampede and my rustler with 3s lipo!!

Yup....several of us have had them in the 60-65mph range...the only problem we're having is keeping the front end down and keeping air under the body...turning it into a big wing. hehe

I would think so. According to Traxxas the rusty running 28/83 on 8.4v = 45+MPH Im currently running 23/86 Topping out at 36MPH. I do have a 28 tooth pinion im going to try. Im estimating about 41MPH using 28/86. I will report back later tonight.

It did 42MPH with the 28 tooth pinion. I guessed 41MPH.
