Its fake you guys.
Ellen does these fake skits before the 12 days of giveaways.
Look at when the music starts, around 1:30, you can see the guy start to smile and she puts her arms down.
What you also didn't because its cut off, is he runs up the stairs and she resumes sitting and blah blah blah.
I think it was just a bad skit for TV viewers.
