Public Speaking Tips to Cover a Q&A Session:

1. Repeat or rephrase the question back to the audience. This not only ensures everyone in the audience hears the question, but it gives you a couple seconds to think about an answer.

2. When it's time to answer, answer to the whole group -- not just the person that asked the question. Make eye contact with the questioner, but also start moving your eye contact to other people around the room. Continue to repeat this process. You don't want to get stuck on one person, so by moving your eye contact around the room it opens your energy and other people will ask questions.

3. When you wrap up, make sure you have a conclusion. Don't just end your presentation on the last question, but conclude the entire presentation. Go back and give the conclusion so you're ending your presentation on a positive note.
