He used to have that "androgynous" look back in the day, but if you check out the latest pics and clips of him, you'll see that he's got much more manly looks now. He's attractive either way.

R: You have been compared to Ville Valo and your band to HIM. Does it make you feel bad ever?
J: No, we haven't been compared to them lately but when we started it's natural to been compared to someone who reminds us in a way but who isn't at the end the same. It is so easy to categorise music and bands and it's natural for human beings. HIM is although the most succesfull finnish band.

R: You make up and you have been called an androgyne and been compared to David Bowie and Ville Valo (Ville Valo is the lead singer of a finnish band HIM). What do you think of when you are called an androgyne?
J: Hmm, is it because I make up or want to highlight some characteristics I have or is it when I'm on a stage without a shirt moving my butt? I don't know. Making up has been a part of rock'n roll for a long time and many bands who make up have been my idols. So it comes from there.
