Grace Filby reveals a shocking secret report by an anonymous Wellcome Trust peer reviewer described as an 'expert'. Compare it with information supplied by the Ministry of Defence about the Eliava Report on the health value of bacteriophage, which is being funded by the Global Partnership.

http://www.amazingphage.info

The project title was: Amazing Phage - talks and exhibits showing the UK's role in international biomedical science and history, alongside other methods of treating superbug infections - 36 months - £30,000.

Grace Filby presents the health value of bacteriophages in illustrated talks, videos, slide shows and table top exhibitions, resulting from overseas travel to key locations visiting many microbiologists and physicians with expertise in this little-known field of medicine. As a Churchill Fellow, she knows patients and has access to archives.

A science communicator with many years' experience in classrooms, with groups and individuals of all ages and abilities, also as an educational publisher, history editor, arts consultant, health spokesperson and writer, Grace carefully prepares each speaking event to ensure that her presentations are tailor-made for the needs and interests of specific audiences. She uses IT/graphics skills to create mini-videos for those with a short attention span, and applies psychological techniques that appeal to different learning styles (visual, auditory and kinaesthetic). She has educational gimmicks and an inspiring, lively approach to this serious, complex and much-neglected subject.

Her associates help to provide a wealth of resources including poems, artwork, historic references, artefacts and copies of rare books. She, personally, is a Reader at The Wellcome Library, including the Rare Materials Room. The Wellcome Collection at the Science Museum has just ONE item on the subject, also introducing pioneering phage technology online.

Having met these scientists at international conferences in England and Scotland (and Poland, Canada and USA), Grace possesses the necessary skills and vocation to introduce this science to the British public, to help solve the superbug and public health crisis in practical and economnical ways.

Intended audiences:

Churchill Associations, Probus Clubs, Rotary groups, Schools and colleges, church groups, Hospital Friends, National Science & Engineering Week 2009, 2010, 2011, Cabinet War Room.

  • Thank you for your tenacity and encouragement.

Sorry that you are facing such unreasonable narrow minded profiteers. Surely with the increased information available the proofs necessary to apply for speaking rights on the subject will be won soon. On the other hand if you wish to promote this treatment before the big pharma companies get their hands on things and dilute the results I'm sure their wood be several news outlets that would welcome your lovely way of presentation. Ohprah perhaps

  • @laurasIs2c Thank you - maybe someone in the USA will be able to do that.

  • The Eliava report is now available from the Institute in Tbilisi.

  • Thank you for your support, Dr Way and all your USA colleagues - very much appreciated. I have added some text which you can click onto at the top RHS of the screen - this gives the summary of the application and also the provisional list of Eliava Report chapter headings, sent to me by the Ministry of Defence.

I hope you like my video responses too - 'Fun with Science' and 'Antibiotics vs. Phage Therapy'. Very short and straight to the point, they may help to hammer the message home! ;-)

  • The bastards that are suppressing this discovery are the same bastards that are suppressing all technologies that will give us health, financial and energy freedom.

They want us sick, poor, and crawling on our bellies till we roll over on our backs and die.

  • Bacteriophages have been used to succesfully treat bacterial infections for at least 30 years in some parts of Eastern Europe, like Georgia.

  • The benefit of bacterio-phages is that they only kill the bad bacteria. Anti-biotics attack good and bad bacteria.

Anti-biotics are used an mass in the bio-industry only to make animals heavier for more profit, which results in resistant bacteria.

one third of the Dutch farmers are infected with resistant bacteria. (as an example)

I told a friend who lost his leg that he could have been helped in Tbilisi..

  • Phage therapy is a socialist technology for the benefit of mankind not to be used for profit making schemes of the greedy capitalist. This is why Russia did not sell this science to large pharma corporations in the US !

  • More basic research with bacteriophage must be done, We must not be discouraged by the large institutions. We must continlue to ask why not use bacteriophge to treat bacterial infections.

Let us continue our journey in our studies of bacteriophage and not be discouraged by the pharmaceutical industry. More bacteriophage research is needed to show the benefit of bacteriophage in the treatment of bacterial infections. New bacteriophage research projects are encouraged and needed. by Dr. Way
