Es increíble como mejora el sonido de este ampli, con las válvulas 928PR y el altavoz del Valve Junior....

  • love your sound. would you mind sending me your settings on the jtm

  • The volume of clean channel is about 7, and master about 3.

The EL84 tubes disrtor very soon, that's where the overdrive come from.

  • i use this amp. i play progressive metal, and with the master cranked, and the boost channel volume at like 40-50%, it's plenty loud to keep up with a drummer.

amazing clean tone, amazing light crunch, amazing medium crunch, and great heavier distortion too. i'm suprised this amp gets negative reviews on music sites. i've never had any trouble with mine. even the electro harmonix power tubes in mine produce plenty good of a sound

  • Hey, thanks for the great video. I have one of these too, and wasn't getting what I wanted from it. But I have just messed around with the settings, as suggested and found much better clean and overdriven sounds. This amp gets some bad press, but actually several other amps have their valves in the same place without ventilation above. I have just recleaned the contacts on my valves and hey presto, just like new.

  • @ociosu that's right it has quite bad reviews on websites, therefore it's really a good deal, I saw one for 400€ today, all retubed...

  • I had one of these....bought it the year they came out.

It did a "dirty-clean" REALLY REALLY well....crank the clean channel to 9-10 and you got THE best gain-y Brit invasion style rock tone.

the gain channell was a little too bright....fuzzy like a Muff at 3 o'clock.

BUT mine burnt up in 2008....litterally went poof, with plume of smoke and sparks and everything....looked like someone lit off a firecracker inside it....super sad day.

  • most tubes are a few hundred.
