We fell back to sleep, waking up at half past twelve. Her long lashes batted innocently as she smirked.

"What?" I groggily asked.

"I'm hungry," she smiled.

"What do you want to eat?" I rolled out of bed and headed towards the bathroom.

I prepared my toothbrush and stuck it into my mouth as I walked into the bedroom. She was sitting Indian style on the bed, still pondering on which craving she should act on. I walked around the room, brushing my teeth as I opened the blinds.

"That Chad guy is still there," I groaned.

She completely ignored me though.

I looked over my shoulder to see her pacing back and forth.

"Is it that hard of a choice?" I chuckled as I headed back into the bathroom.

I came back, mouth rinsed and minty fresh, "Still?"

She looked up at me with a cute frown on her face, "I can't decide if I want scrambled eggs or waffles."

"Scrambled eggs sound good," I wrapped my arms around her stretching waist.

"Hmm," she hummed, "I've got it! I want chocolate chip pancakes."

"That wasn't even one of your initial choices," I laughed, pressing my lips gently under her ear.

She jumped as chills ran down her spin.

"Calm yourself, Gomez," I chuckled, "That's how you became pregnant to begin with."

Her hand slapped playfully against my chest before she exited the room. As I walked downstairs, I gave her a quick smile while she brushed her teeth. I made my way to the kitchen and began making breakfast. And if I must say, I look damn good in an apron.

"Back upstairs," I ordered as she stepped into the kitchen.

"But Nick," she began to protest.

"Bed rest, remember?" I motioned to the stairs with the spatula.

She groaned, dragging her feet up the stairs and into the bedroom. Within minutes I was finished making our extremely late breakfast and carried it upstairs to our room.

"Smells good," she sniffed as I entered.

I walked over, placing the tray of food beside her on the bed. Her hands immediately grabbed the fork and butter knife, then cut ferociously into the poor pancake. I couldn't help but laugh as she crammed the food into her mouth.

"What?" she frowned, "I'm pregnant."

I nodded, smiling as I took a bite of food off of my fork. After we finished devouring our delicious breakfast, I moved the tray with all the utensils and plates we used onto the dresser.

"Okay," I sighed as I turned around, "We need to talk."

Her eyes shot open, "About what? 'We need to talk' never leads to anything good."

I crawled onto the bed, resting my head on Baby Jonas.

"I'm talking to the baby, Sel," I replied, "The baby and I need to talk."

My head bounced lightly as her stomach jumped with her laughter. I lifted my head and cradled Baby Jonas in my palms.

"Okay," I huffed, "I can already tell you're going to be a handful, but right now you need to be good so Momma can bring you to this world safely. So far she's had a few complications, but it's nothing we should worry about as long as you behave. Understand?"

"Nick," Selena giggled, "Why are you lecturing the baby already?"

"I'm not done, Gomez," I nodded and turned back to Baby Jonas, "Now that I've said that, we have more pressing matters to discuss."

Selenas giggle floated from behind me.

"We aren't sure if you're a boy or a girl, but either way there are some rules we need to go over. If you're a girl," I huffed, "No boyfriends until twenty-one. Tattoos and piercings are a definite NO. No belly baring shirts or short skirts. Got it?"

"Nick!" Selena interrupted once again.

"Sel," I frowned, "I'm trying to have a heart to heart with my child right now."

"But I don't think the baby understands any of that yet," she laughed as she shook her head.

"If you're a boy," I frowned at Selena and turned back to the baby, "I'm going to have to teach you the ropes on pulling a girl like your mom. She's hot," I smiled.

"NICK!" Selena snapped.

My head shot up, my eyes round and innocent as they looked into hers.

"That's completely unfair,"she growled, "That's totally sexist!"

"Don't pay her any mind," I kissed Baby Jonas, "it's the hormones."
