  • Hey joe! What songs were you playing there at the beginning?

  • @owsleyforkmusic Very poor renditions of Clinch Mountain Backstep and Ground Hog.....

  • Joe,

I received your new book "From My Perspective" for Christmas this last year. I have since finished reading it, and I am thinking about reading it a second time, it was so googd. In the meantime, I wonder when your next book will come out. You have no idea how many people you make smile with your writhing. You have a whimsical way with words, keep writing.

    Liz

  • @cebarry2000 Thanks LIZ...... honored by YOUR words... :) Not sure when another book will come out........ I assure you one WILL be written however!! Thanks again!

  • love ya joe!!!

  • I'll see you guys in Merriville, In. for the Christmas show. I take my whole family there every year. It is a family tradition!!! Oh, I bought the new CD at Cracker Barrel!!

  • Love you brother!

  • @owsleyforkmusic Ok, well, i heard the clinch mountain backstep, but the reason i was asking, is because my good friend Danny Barnes wrote a song called Whistle pig, and it sounds alot like groundhog.

  • Joe I grew up listening to the Oaks. I remember as a child singing American Made and Bobbie Sue! I am now a music education major in college and a minister of music. Thank you for being an inspiration and good guys to look up to.

    God bless,

    Michael Loredo

  • Thank you for sharing your experiences with us all. God speaks to me through others around me, and yes, by Joe Bonsall of the Oak Ridge Boys (Members of the Grand Ole Opry) I picked up my left handed Martin, and am now creating...thank you again!
