@charlieroy911 And he played all of the guitar parts on the 1987 Whitesnake album, as well as all fo the backing vocals. It's a shame he didn't stay in the band and at least play the 87/88 tour. Would have been amazing to see that album lineup.

The most stupid thing is to fire the guy who made you album for the ages and then let steve vai to try to imitate john :) but soon after first gig he realize that ..... there is only one john :)

The sound looks like it would be from different day than the video footage. You can see it clearly when John is about to finish singing just before the solo - he sings, but on video he is out of mic. What is more, during the solo he plays differently than we can hear. I hope it's not a playback performance as it not in the style of John. Anyone knows more about this?

Anyone where there's an accurate tab for this track?Every online tab seems watered down and incorrect.
I'm suprised there isn't a tab book for the whole Whitesnake 87 album.
