  • Hi, do you literally rest 6 full days before test day in both bench and squat? Do nothing? Thanks!

  • @cyberpumpdotcom She did one very light squat and bench session three to four days prior to testing...nothing more than 75%.

  • Thanks...and thanks for the video and the detail. It's very interesting. The "shock" and rebound concept I have used in grip strength but not on big lifts. Did she maintain this new base strength or was did she tend to go back towards her more normal strength "set" point? Thanks.

  • @hardtraining Your welcome. She retained most of it.

  • You added 5lbs per workout per week in the bench? For example, 80% of 165 max is 132 for the first week. The next week you would then go 137 correct? The week after than it would be 142 for the 80% day?

  • WOW! Veterans like us (translated: Masters lifters) can't pay for results like this. I am MOST impressed. So much so, I may be trying this myself after the USAPL MD States & The American Open.
