The price difference is about $14K in the US, as it goes between standard and S model.

I'm a little bit confusted on the price, I've seen Evora's that were priced at around 67,000USD. That's way cheaper than the price he's saying. Maybe it was just a typo on the dealers website?

@PD19954 Here's some schooling for you...you ever wondered why they would put back seats in a sports car?........ I'll tell you because it puts the car in a different bracket of competition, insurance and standards...Lotus knew that nobody would be comfortable in the back seat, but they made it anyway. Can it handle? Very much so, however Lotus failed aiming to please everyone....Even Lotus agrees with me therefore my opinion beats yours because Lotus is changing Evora....GAME OVER I WIN! Loser

toyota has no business in a british car. at least gm has a british marque, and lotus designed the LT5 in the 1990 ZR1. Lotus will have their own engines soon.
Lotus got their suspensions right...great ride AND handling. The chassis can handle so much more power. It can handle 600 hp.
the Cayman a 'real' Porsche because it's not based off the Hitler-designed Volkswagen Beetle? Porsche won't put more powerful engines in the Cayman because it's a BETTER chassis than the 911.

as an owner of a Exige S with 241bhp I found the first Evora incredibly lacking in terms of power. This Evora S should have been the first Evora, and then follow by a 400bhp+ version. What's so difficult pumping out 400bhp+ from a Toyota 3.5liter engine when Exige cup 260 is already outputting at 144.5bhp/liter?
I hate to say this but it's about selling a version at a time to rack up a product's total volume. I am very sure they will have a super supercharged version rated at 450bhp later.
