Bob Costas is a baseball guy. Sure he is great working almost any sport, but baseball is where he is best. I hope that we get to hear him on the World Series again soon, nothing against Joe Buck.

You can tell that Bob Costas picked up a lot of Jack Buck's style of calling a game, unlike Jack's own son Joe Buck.

It's hilarious in context - and the type of stories other announcers would lose it over. These guys have to play hosts to all sorts of corporate schmucks and dillweeds every game and make them feel important. As employees of the club, they don't have a choice.
So yeah, from an announcer's point of view, it's hysterical.
