A short tour I made using Linux (Ubuntu) and gtk-recordmydesktop with compiz-config package.
Thanks to all folks who support the Linux community! You've converted another.
Now, before I get flooded with fifteen billion idiot responses, this is not a "fanboy" video. This is something to demonstrate exactly what neat things a proper Linux machine can do. I barely scratched the surface. I like windows, I've used it for several years and think it's a great operating system. I'm only showing those out there that they have another option!
im going to build my computer in the future and i was wondering if u could give some recomendations on an os

If you're looking for something that's cost-effective I'd say Ubuntu since it's free, but you need to have a "little bit" of computer knowledge to install and run it in most cases. Otherwise, I'd recommend Microsoft Windows. It's a solid operating system despite what Linux fanboys might say, and is awesome for the average user. Ubuntu is great if you want something different, but the software support for it is still growing, so expect a small library of popular software until the future.
