I think these designs are awesome, and I think this is gonna be better than rebuilding the twin towers. Yes they were destroyed when nobody wanted them to be (except for anti-americans) but still, americans need to move on and stop all the complaining. How does building the Freedom Tower tell the terrorists that they won? It shows to them that the americans are moving on and that no matter what the terrorists do, they will just do something bigger (in this case taller) and better!!!!

iam a german, i never was in NY before, but i have to say, that they should rebuild the beautiful twin towers, if they dont, the terrorists win. but there are way to underway, to stop building the freedome tower at all, and go on with the traditional towers, and thats make me kinda sad.

I remember excitedly wanting to see the twin towers as a kid, my dad taking us down to manhattan to see them. pretty exciting for a little kid to see the tallest buildings. they were built when my father was in his 20s. In my own 20's I went to the top of the world with my girlfriend. Again, very impressive. In another 10 or so years I'll probably be bringing my own kids down to see the new site. what a story a place can have.
