A Traditional Bengali Wedding Folk dance. Usually performed at weddings to symbolize not only the union but the chase before the wedding itself. The song speaks of a guror gari, by which the man will take the women. This is a cow's car. Like i said this is a traditional folk song done by villagers for villagers.

  • wtf

  • where can i get the music from?

  • Nice dance...anyway I am not bangla, but my boyfriend is and I wonder if he can dance like that bangla guy.

  • And to Mr jabedmoni and Miss bennigyal:

If wearing a burka is being 'freshi'-then wearing a saree, salwar kamiz, sherwani, kurta, pajama-panjabee, tupi, lungi etc is felt being 'freshi' to you?? Get your facts right coz if thats so then, im proud i have an identity which i can relate to and not hide under others.

One can not have repect for other language and cultures if they dont have respect for their own language and culture. joy bangla :-)

  • To all Bengali's:

No matter how well you speak English-your identity will always be that your a Bengali. There are some people i.e the younger generation in the UK who are ignorent and 'murko'(illiterate) in their own mother tongue-will always call some other person 'freshi' who may not be as good as them in spoken English! Not knowing how to speak in your own mother tongue let alone read and write is very embarrassing! So, who's the 'freshi'?

  • lolz, no worries, i jus had to put my point across when u said majority of ppl r brainless, i assumed u meant ppl whov grown up in this country so i had to represent, no harm done..

  • wat have i been missing??? very nice song.......make peace and enjoy going to shoshur bari!

  • ok... leave it..i don't wanna argue on this stupid matter..who am i to complain..r amar kotha kei ba shunbe..now ppl use this term..in the comin days..who knows aro kotho term use kora hobe..i am sorry ami hoytho ektu beshi nak golachchi..
