In 2009 they revised the first scenario. You now get two chits for every small island you settle on. They did this with the first four and add maps for just three players.

How many little hexes are there in the whole expansion? I mean the board where you can make all those different combinations is HUGE!

I have a question about this board game. can I also play the basic game (only the main island) with this expansion? I have played basic game a lot before and want to introduce it to my frds who never played it. so I was debating whether to buy the basic one (which i have played before) or seafarer of catan (which i prefer..) what do u think?

You have to buy the basic game (Settlers of Catan), or this one won't work.
