@NJDominicana246 You praise a god that said killing was wrong, meanwhile he kills egypt's first born, all the people who died in the flood, some guy for "spilling his seed", and thousands of others. god kills more than satan. if god cant even follow his ten commandments then why should you or i?

"...sacrificed his own son for this ungrateful humanity" he killed his own son for something he could have fixed in the first place, jesus died for nothing.

where was god when moses lists the rules to owning slaves? where was god when after every single battle the jews stole slaves for their own? why didnt god say "no, slavery is wrong"? i'll tell you why god didnt say it was wrong; he didnt say it was wrong because the jews didnt know it was wrong. its amazing how god's knowledge is limited to the jews knowledge.

I praise a God who sacrificed HIS OWN SON for THIS UNGRATEFUL HUMANITY! I praise a God who uses others to perform great and mighty things for His glory! @gat0rgirl13 God didn't kill the firstborns, the ROMANS did. God didn't promote slavery. Slavery was INVENTED BY MAN but God established ways to do it HUMANELY, as at times we need to learn to ADJUST to the times. I don't praise the hateful God you think you believed in. God isn't a spiteful God. I don't know what God you were worshiping. The Jesus that's stuck on a wooden cross? Christ didn't stay there. I praise a God who LOVES and wants the best for us... I'm sorry you never did.

Kirk believes in mircoevolution so why wouldnt god believe it too?

i know the god of the o.t is same as the n.t. i just cant believe you praise him, a god that killed first borns and promoted slavery, if god doesnt promote those today then GOD HAS CHANGED.

@gat0rgirl13 I know, you weren't referring to Jehovah alone, I mean that I doubt that, in your perspective, that ANY DIVINE ENTITY would believe in evolution is PREPOSTEROUS! The vast majority of beliefs in God bases the beginning of the Earth with CREATION, not EVOLUTION! And the God of the old testament IS THE SAME GOD of the New Testament and is the same God HE'S ALWAYS BEEN. You may change and your beliefs too but God has NEVER changed.

@gat0rgirl13 I'm not interested. Sorry. I have not a doubt in my mind that my Creator made me and everything I see. I'm sick of hearing the same argument over and over again, it's a scratched record. Millions of years ago bla bla bla and then bang bla bla bla. It's all the same. Those books won't tell me anything I haven't already heard. Once again, I ENCOURAGE to ask YOURSELF why we believe and to put yourself in our shoes instead of giving a 3rd person view point.

@NJDominicana246 I said god (as a first cause not the christian god) would believe in evolution. Of course god of the old testament wouldn't believe in evolution he still thinks bats are birds. You say to tell an atheist god exists would fall on deaf ears is very true, but so is telling a christian about evolution, neither believes the other exists.

i was raised catholic and once had a strong belief in god.

@NJDominicana246 yes evolution explains why we humans and all modern day creatures are here but it doesnt expain how life began nor does it try to, that is what the bid bang theory explains. i said you must not have been paying attention because no teacher or professor woud have said evolution was just an accident because its not. if you want to know what caused the big bang you should some read Neil deGrasse Tyson and Stephen Hawking books
