You hire 20 people at $1/hr
You hire 1 operator at $20/hr
Given the current minimum wage, option A is in third world countries. Option B is here.
Take your pick. Want to employ that operator and keep the business here working, or off shore it?
This machinery allows a set of workers to be more productive and keep costs down so that they can meet a market price locally with higher paid labor to compete with lower paid labor that is used elsewhere.

Well its faster, cheaper and better for the economy to use machines. Also think of the jobs created with a higher demand for these machines.

Paper is also made of wood - the same kind of paper that you used to sign up for your internet connection in the first place..
