Proud mother here. The little girl second from the right is my daughter. She is now 34 years old. While filming this commercial in Amsterdam, she had her 8th birthday and she was given the original Lofty that was used in this commercial. In fact she is the one holding Lofty in the commercial. We lost the tape of this commercial, so am so happy to see this online.

I remember this ponies! When I was a kid, my next-door neighbor had MLP toys and we used to play together with them.
Hey Hasbro!, I think G4 ponies need to be about 20% softer.

I'm a 38 year old male, and while I obviously didn't play with MLP, I saw the commercials watching after school cartoons. The 1980s reference, and hearing this commercial and song, takes me back to when I was a teenager, when life was so happy. My grandparents and Dad were live and healthy. It's a very feelgood thing for me to hear this song. Happy time!
