I am losing weight, mainly through reducing my intake of refined carbohydrates (e.g. bread, potatoes, rice, pasta) and sugar foods (e.g. pastry, ice cream, etc). As of this video, I have lost 15 pounds and am excited because the process is working. I am reading (and following) "Good Calories, Bad Calories" by Gary Taubes. I will share what I know as I continue to read.

Anyone who has read Gary's book will not tell you to eat any type of carbohydrate if you have a craving. Simply eat more fat/protien as suggested in Gary's book. Your hunger will go away and you will continue to lose weight. I have also made the lifestyle change. Good luck!

good luck. I am trying to lose weight too. I think if you ever get a craving for sweets you can have some fruit or oj. Cherries, Nectarines, watermelon. They are part of the paleo lo carb diet.
