SAYING GOOD-BYE

SAYING GOODBYE::::Here we are singing the blues again. This video is a tribute to the late Willie Morris, one of our regions most talented and unsung writers. Remember the book, "MY DOG SKIP"?. WILLIE MORRIS wrote it. He was a native of Yazoo City, Mississippi and later lived in Jackston, Mississippi until he died in 1999. Frankie Muniz played Willie Morris in the movie, My Dog Skip. Willie Morris wrote a number of books, fiction and non fiction about the south and southern living. He seemed to capture and convey the deepest and innermost feelings and memories of country folk, rural living and, of all things...family pets. I grew up in a town similiar to the one Willie Morris grew up in. Due to having to take castor oil and put Brer Rabbit "Surp" on my hot cakes I left home at an early age. The last three photos in this video are in recognition of Willie Morris. Saying goodbye sometimes brings on a feeling and you may get that feeling while viewing this video, "Saying Goodbye" Willie Morris sure conveyed that feeling in much of his literature.

My tuxedo cat, Belle, passed away on the same weekend Amy Winehouse and Christopher Mayer died. Belle was my baby, my little girl. She loved me to pieces. When I was sick, she was my "Florence Nightincat". I'll miss her always.

I've been saying good bye to my wife over these past 12 years with my videos. Our final good byes were in April of this year. She passed on April 16 of this year.

lost two dogs this year due to old age. I would be wrong to say I wouldn’t do it again. two days a will always remember is the day they came home and the day they left for the last time. some one said that time heals all wounds and some say wounds will never heal with time.
