Its funny because Mark looks nothing like Eddie Murphy in person. They look like complete opposites with the similar voices!

Disney and dreamworks are competitors. Dreamworks put it in Eddie Murphy's contract when he signed up to do donkey on shrek that he couldn't reprise is role for Mushu. This is explained on imdb for Mulan 2.
