LOL, I'm a Hungarian, and I prove you wrong. We were never part of the USSR. But a communist regime was forced on us. In 1956, we wanted to get rid of it with a revolution, but all the efforts, it was unsuccessful. It is true, that the Soviet Union have invaded us, but we've never been part of it. You're talking about the uprising of 1956 (you've moved on from 1947-48?) What has that got to do with Hungary being part of the Soviet Union, as you stated it was? You seem to be struggling with what constituted the Soviet Union. Let's make it easier for you. Search "Map of the Soviet Union". Click on it. Look at the countries contained therein.
