you can only zoom in so far before you start to have negative effects of operating the camera zoomed in with another lens attached to it

really? wow you just have to zoom in, it's most defiantly avoidable. Do your research, it'll help and most times you see vignetting it is intentional

unlike many of the other HV20 amateur videos I find in youtube this one looks real good. I must say, above average. I really liked how you paid attention to the photography, not just shooting just for shooting, but actually cared for detales in composition. Nice work. I'll look into more of your stuff

it's not, it's a result of the 35mm dof adapter. it's nearly unavoidable
