That is the way that is comfortable for me and easy for beginners. As long as the right notes are played and sound out, it is more of a matter of comfort and personal preference. However, I guess everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

lol I sound like him huh? I've been planning on doing more lessons on like Nirvana, STP, and Alice in Chains just been lazy. should be doing an acoustic cover of Nirvana's Polly soon too one of my favs and easy to play

hey your welcome. If you understand how to practice correctly and you take the time to practice at the right speed and form, it does not matter if you are a beginner or not you will eventually reach your goal. good luck!

@tacosareradd I mean it is all relative to the player, but a beginner should be confident to be able to learn and play this song with some practice.
