  • does anyone know what josh did in the first part of the solo? he use his right hand to sound like his hammering and pulling off on the G string. thank you for the reply.

  • @TheMdayracn

Is just a slide-tapping with the right hand....15/17\15 i think

  • @Ander1405

i see. using his pick to tap and slide? well that's fast. and pretty clean to do.

  • @TheMdayracn

Yes its fuckin fast dude, but he use his finger to do it

  • what ibanez is that on the bottom? anyone know?

  • hahahaha under his jacket...he don`t have tattoo on hands

    silly question dude..

  • Jim's style has a lot to do with his influences from his parents music and his admitted lack of music theory. He improvises some GREAT stuff but you can almost feel note for note where his solos are going. Josh and Mick are both very technical players; lots of wild sweeps and sometimes they'll use more exotic scales. Trying to compare technical composition to improvising through pure feeling is like trying to compare apples to oranges.
