Now to you do you think that this is acceptable for one who wanted the child and now lives 2 minutes away from the little one not to pay child support? Should this be solely the responsibility of the Mother when she wasn't really ready for this child and all he had to do was pay half on terminating the pregnancy? I would like to hear your thoughts.

I wish you'd made a video response for something this lengthy BUT it's a response so...he should take care of that child. Did he want to be the sole guardian? Was the mother merely carrying the child? But she should have paid for the entire abortion and cut that loser out of her life! In my opinion, she should be entitled to simply leave the child in the father's hands, and abandon the child, if her heart can bear it...

now she sacrifices her choice of future suitors, her time and her money spent on an unwanted child. If that were me, I'd blackmail him into an open matrimony (if he's worth his salt) in return for zero payments. Except it's a rough bet that his irresponsible ways will change for the better!

If people would educate themselves o nthe system, they'd be less inclined to use it.

We all have a choice to protect ourselves or to take a risk. It seems a lot of folks will take the risk, then cry about the after-effects.

first of all.you misunderstood what was said.i meant that if you didnt pay child support basically they would take actions against a non-compliant parent(meaning a parent who is not paying)in their computer system to make payments to the CUSTODIAL guardian ..Example suspending your..license...FYI its not just fathers that pay child support.." causing the good fathers to get fucked!!!!!!!"before telling others to educate themselves.you should deligently proofread your ever so delightful replies..

The court orders of non-compliant parents do not get enforced. However; if the non-custodial parent does pay, then the courts screw with them more because the state makes money from the federal government based on HOW MUCH MONEY they collect, and not how many court orders are enforced. This drives up the amount of the state guidelines that determine the cost per child, causing the good fathers to get fucked!!!!!!!

Please educate yourself on the system before making such claims!

A child is a child, whether or not it was planned or whether or not your ready. Its not selfishness, a child should not be held accountable for decisions made by others. The women and men are both responsible for their actions whether intentional or not and child support was a way of collecting money for single parents and they made sure to enforce laws in order to receive payments from those who were non-complient. A mother also has to deal with having an unplanned birth not just the father.

I don't even worry about whether he will change or not. All I do know is that he will have to answer to someone more powerful than any child support officer or judge. His judgement day will be hell.

Well, the child is 10 mths old and I hae never asked her Dad for anything. I make my own money, but since he wanted this child I feel he's responsible for his part of making her life as lavish as his. So, I put him on child support and the little money he does pay doesn't cover half the expenses it takes to just love. I would never abandon my child. Your right I sacrificed a lot. I had to put getting my Ph.D on hold because this ninja said he would be there.
