Beautiful, but emotional porn. The chord progressions and harmonies are tried and true "pullers of heart strings".  He very much has a template for his music, (most of his pieces are in C) and they sound VERY similar. He is a good musician, but also a good business man. He knows what sells.

I agree about the redundancy in his pieces. You can almost always tell the song is Jim Brickman's the first time listening to it. Some of the chicks I got in high school came solely from being able to play this song.

Jim's music is great! His style is behind much of what I write! Very talented composer and pianist!
