if oasis are about true ROCK then why in the world would they fucking agree to mime their hit songs??? sounds to me like they needed attention in their first year of jumping around and they basically listened to what they were told and where to play...

Actually they mime on TOTP cause the live sound there sucks. They tried a couple of times live but they never liked the overall sound

here you can't have a go at oasis for miming on TV, everyone has to mime on tv, you don't have a choice on most shows, Liam actually refuses to do it often and purposefully makes a mess of it to embarrass shows that ask him to do it, actual gigs they never mime

On TOTP everyone mimed apart from whoever was number 1 that week 'I think'. They would be the only one's to play live. Also sometimes they used to have 'special guests' on the show. The 'special guests' would also play live. But everyone else pretty much had to use playback. This is not playback. Well the vocals definitely are not playback. I'm not too sure about the instruments.

ok, i love oasis as much as the next guy, but i think the instruments might be mimed. noel's solo on supersonic is note for note the same as on the album and the hand claps during the coda of supersonic arent appearing to be coming from anywhere. dont give me a bunch of crap for saying that. i love oasis too, but its just what it looks like to me

i guess this came from a show called "Something for the weekend"... there's another video on youtube of rock n roll star from this same 'gig' and there they show you what the title of this show is. if that's the case this would have been at: The Warehouse, Leeds, England... 1 July 1994
