to me - a music fan since 1969- he rivals all the best and that includes Brian Wilson- I'd put Submarine Bells up against Pet Sounds, Forever Changes and Odessey and Oracle --

Yes, they should have been much, much bigger. Used to hear them on college radio in Boston a lot. I saw them once. There was an unparalleled sound to them. I hope they were big in NZ.
