This St Petersburg Times investigative series is extraordinary. I am betting it wins a Pulitzer prize. We haven't seen this kind of "old school" journalism in a long time.

Tory, what I want to know is: how OFF THE RADAR was this story while it was brewing? I am guessing this had to have taken two years to assemble, interview, fact check, authenticate, do investigative backgrounders, etc. So, did this expose take most CoS people totally by surprise? .. The video interviews are amazing.

I honestly don't know. I doubt if it took 2 years, but you may be correct. Per the story, they tried to interview Scientology---and ol Tommy has done a brilliant job of proving what they were talking about! Good job, TD! (great for us, seriously bad for Davey boy and gang).

I don't feel sorry for Tommy Davis. He's supporting the intense abuses of Davey boy and thus ensuring more and more people are harmed. He needs to WTFU and bail while he can, as is true of anyone lurking. The weather's just fine out here :) Did you *really* expect to follow a leader who beats people up?

Im not surprised Hubbard wanted Werner Erhard dead when he saw him using scientology tech to manipulate and control others. Just think of all the money Est/ landmark education made should have gone to scientology.

I have no idea what Flynn is doing these days, but I'd really like him to come back to the fight, but I figure he's gotta be pretty old these days and probably not up to it. But it'd like to see Flynn take on whatever he can, not just Scientology, he could fight the good cause against any injustice.
