2DIBBILERS, Hello , just to tell you a little about Lapiro de Mbanga, he is from Mbanga and like most of the towns around Mbanga, i.e . Loum , Djombe and Pendja , the main language of communication there is Pidgin English, although the Province-now region is French speaking. This is partly because the region IS mostly covered by CDC plantations hiring workers from almost all parts of cameroon especially neighbouring southwest region. So you can now understand why he prefers to speak in pidgin

Whatever happened to this maestro. The last i heard of him he was locked up.
I have awlwyas wondered why he sang in pidgin english given he is not from an anglophone zone. Does anyone have the answer with which to quench my curiosity.
