Dana Bowman - Rosa's Cafe Elementary School Promotion

Rosa's Cafe sponsors SGT. First Class Dana Bowman to visit with all the Elementary Schools in Weatherford, TX to share his amazing story, and to motivate the children to always do their best. Dana Bowman lost both of his legs in a tragic mid-air collision while performing a sky dive maneuver called the diamond track with his partner on the Elite Golden Knights US Army Parachute team. Dana rejoined the Golden Knights only 9 months after the accident, becoming the first double amputee to rejoin the Army and the Golden Knights Parachute team. Dana also water skis, snow skis, scuba dives, files airplanes and helicopters, and he is an inspiration to us all on what can be achieved in a lifetime, and how tragedy can be overcome to land on target.
