  • oh this song bring tears to my eyes! reminds me of when i was a kid, growing up in rural Mt Frere (Eastern Cape, South Africa) Thank God for YouTube, I am so far from home, but this song brings so close to my country, my people, even my late parents. Praise God for memories

  • I dissagree on the ethnics of it. This style of song and dance celebrates Zulu culture, hence the name Ladysmith Black Mombazo. These people are wearing the traditional Zulu warrior dress. Ladysmith is a town in Zululand South Africa. Zulus were fierce warrior peoples. Google Shaka or Mzilikazi FYI Rather than being afraid to use terms like black and white, we need to embrace the differences in culture, not try to meld all into one.   • @madphilgreenballs I managed to catch the LBM concert back in the 90's when they came to AKL. Shouted my Dad a ticket and it still rates as my favourite concert we've ever been to :)
