The problem is that non-Mormons think they understand the church so perfectly and they really don't - I'm not Mormon and I used to think Mormons were crazy but then I did some research and realized that they are just normal people who, God forbid, believe something a bit different from other Christians. Mitt Romney's religion should only be an issue to the extent that it will affect his ability to keep religion out of government. Otherwise, people have no basis to attack him for his beliefs.

You can have whatever opinion you want, but Abortion is not as important as the fact that we're losing the middle class and becoming a full fledged plutocracy. Abortion debates are tangential when we're about ready to lose this country as we know it.

@cornshucker37, actually, Romney handled himself very well here and won a lot more fans after the exchange with the petulant radio host. This video was edited to try to make him look bad, but Romney can handle himself just fine. He will be our next president.

This is why I told my fellow Mormons not to vote for Mitt Romney just because he's a Mormon. Romney made other comments in other places that prove to me that he was distancing himself from the church. His comments about how he knows his faith better than the DJ show his arrogance. Romney said things that left us all scratching our heads on issues of doctrine. But what the heck, he wasn't running as a Mormon so what is he? That is why I loved Bush, his religion was who he was.

I was working on another campaign in IA when this broke, someone strange man came into our office telling us about it. We watched it online and quickly downloaded.... because it was taken off the internet 5-10 mins after we watched it. Romney shows a real ugly side that not many people have seen!
