This song came to me, as I was singing to my 6 month old daughter - I literally sang this song in kid's church when I was 7

Thank you so much for posting this!! I had this on tape when I was little and wore out the tape. I tried to find a copy years ago, when my now teenage son was little, but was told it was not available. Now that I have a little girl, I renewed my search for Bullfrogs & Butterflies. God bless you for putting this YouTube channel together so we can share these songs with our children. <3

@mondaye03 I think Barry wrote it for his 2 year old son because he wanted him to understand how his father felt when he became a new creation in Christ, but that was a heavy concept for a two year old. So he used something else. A Bullfrog started life in water only, and the butterfly started life in the ‘grounded’ dimension. Just like physicists, Christians have to describe difficult concepts using illustrations.
