What ever happened to great southern rock? Jeez, I miss the '70s and McDuffie high school. I joined the Air Force and was shocked to find that the Okinawans loved Southern Rock.

My family was transferred from Albuquerque in 1972 to Bernardsville NJ in 1972, for some reason I picked up the Marshall Tucker, Charlie Daniels and The Outlaws. There first record in 74 has been with me ever since.

Saw the Outlaws once I think. Opened for ZZ top (Deguelo tour) in the late 70's at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago.

The Outlaws...Right in the same class as Lynyryd Skynyrd, Marschall Tucker Band, and Pure Praire League...I'm just glad I experienced them ALL during my teenage to teen years.
