  • I can tell how hard it was for Jack Albertson getting through that scene, he grew real fond of Freddie, and doing the show without Freddie was not the same.

  • It is sad, How a man that good and that sweet with so much to look forward take his life like that..... I hope when you post part 3 you will let us know, Thanks so much for posting this, I know what it's like to lose a loved one at a young age, I lost my husband at the age of 49.....

  • They didn't want to say that he committed suicide cause it would've been in bad taste for the show so Jack said he went away and is never coming back just to make it sound simple.

  • @JimmyD4u69 Gabriel Melgar

  • I remember this.

  • was it ever explained how chico died on the show

  • i am tearing up

  • I was ten years old when Freddy Prinze died. My family watched the show regularly. My school teacher "briefly" talked about the death with the class. "No matter how successful a person is, we never truly know what is happening within them.

Honestly, though I did miss Freddy Prinze, I related a little better tothe boy, because he was in my age bracket. So though the show shifted, it wasn't hard to get in the new character played by Gabrile Melgar.

  • @ivegotalongdong ....well, well look at mr. negativity here. i don't know about anyone else, but i see an even BIGGER idiot....YOU. as for your ridiculous name "ivegotalongdong"....YEAH RIGHT. it's usually/always NEVER the chase for the ones who boast about it. let's see....i think i'll change my handle to ivegotaLONGERdongthanivegotalongdong. kinda catchy.

  • A Mexican running away from the U.S. to Mexico. Now that IS an anomaly! Usually the only people running away from the U.S. to Mexico are divorced white men fleeing the agents of Satan in black robes of hell or their blue gun thug minions.

  • @ivegotalongdong - We're still waiting for Your New Show so You can show us how to do it. Until then I find that it is much easier for someone like You to try to pick at a Comic & Actor who came from nothing and worked his way through the comedy club circuit to stardom & has been dead for over 30 years. I've found that most people who speak of themselves in 3rd party or have a screen name touting their supposed pecker size are idiots & Schmeckles. You could be the exception but I doubt it.
