Logitech G25 Old & New Shifter Comparison

In 2006 i purchased a G25. The shifter broke after some time so i emailed Logitech.
4 days later i had a complete NEW set WITH a free copy of rFactor ^__^

They look 100% similar but there is a change in the H-Shifter.
There is less play and the clicking noise is almost gone.
See for yourself in the video.

Also the feel in the wheel is somewhat different, not in the ForceFeedback but in the new one i can feel the gears rattling inside. I didnt get that with the old one, but then again the new one is slightly smoother to turn.

Maybe to use the sequential shift but to do h-shifting is impossible i think.

I just asked because there is a big diference between the two.

And some time ago I was thinking on buying G27, but after the G25's price drop I didn´t think twice...

I dont think u can get the old shifter anymore or their G25s from your shop have been lying around there for 3 years :p

I ordered mine yesterday at a shop in portugal... If, for some reason, I get the old shifter, I can email logitech about that? Is the same situation as yours isn´t it?

I got mine at the release for €215 from a shop in the netherlands.

the logitech website is f**ing expensive :') $300 for a g25 i laughed my ass off.
